Embrace nature on a daily basis! Why, because it is calming, the fresh air is good for our lungs and our immune systems, it reduces stress by giving us a change of scenery. Being out in nature takes us away from the computer, TV, hopefully even the phones!! It gives us time to think without interruption, think about what needs to be a priority on our to do list, to think about that interaction with ______ that did not go well. How could I have done a better job of communicating, or how can I mend how we ended our interaction. Being out in nature allows your mind and body to slow down. Being physical never hurts anything either, increases blood flow, slows the mind, decreases stress or anger.
So go out and find a tree! They are great listeners!
